Having a country wedding is trendy way to be fashionable, as well as keep some traditionalism to your wedding which is not an easy feat. There are many variations of a country wedding including barn weddings, western country weddings, old southern country weddings, ranch weddings, farm weddings and more. The key to a country wedding is finding which direction of country you want to go and sticking to it!Embed from Getty Images Embed from Getty Images
One area of country weddings is the typical western wedding. This includes cowboy hats, burlap decorations, red-checkered tablecloths, horses and cowboy boots; the whole country nine yards! This is a great way to go if you’re groom is a good ol’ fashioned cowboy. You’re guests will love the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and appreciate the Southern hospitality quality.Embed from Getty Images Embed from Getty Images Embed from Getty Images Embed from Getty Images
A rustic barn wedding is one of my favorite country weddings because it’s trendy and elegant, yet carefree at the same time. It’s the perfect place for mason jars, twinkling lights and chandeliers. A barn wedding is classy meets sassy, and is the perfect way to show your stylish side while also making your guests feel comfortable and cheerful.Embed from Getty Images
When planning a country wedding, the love is in the details. Some ways to get your guests excited about your ceremony is to have all of your guests arrive by hayride. Hire a nearby farmer with a horse-drawn hayride to transport all of your guests to you ceremony or reception space. Your guests will be so surprised and your wedding will definitely stand out! It will set the stage for the rest of the night’s exciting festivities. You can also have you and your bridal party wear cowboy boots and your groom wear a cowboy hat! You and your bridesmaids won’t have to worry about your feet hurting by the end of the night and you can dance the night away pain-free.
Wildflowers are also a stylish way to incorporate country nature into your wedding. A bouquet of assorted wildflowers, sunflowers in mason jars as centerpieces or aisle markers are a chic way to show country flair.Embed from Getty Images Embed from Getty Images
